Creating a backup plan for a device
Perform the following steps to create a backup plan for a device:
1.Log into the Acronis portal using your login username, and click the Continue button.
2. Enter your password and click the Sign In button.
3.Now, You can see the Acronis Dashboard.
4.In the Acronis dashboard, double click the machine for which you want to backup the data, and click the Add plan option.
5.In the following screen, select/enter the values based on the table below, and click the Create button.

Select Cloud storage as the destination where you want to back up. |
Schedule |
By default, backups are performed on a daily basis, Monday to Friday. You can select the time to run the backup. If you want to change the backup frequency, move the slider, and then specify the backup schedule. |
Encryption |
It is recommended that you encrypt all backups that are stored in the cloud storage. There is no way to recover encrypted backups if you lose or forget the password. |
6.The backup plan will be created and you can run the plan when needed.
Applying backup plan to a device
Perform the following steps to install Acronis agent and add a device to it:
1.Log into the Acronis portal using your login username, and click the Continue button.
2.Enter your password and click the Sign In button.
3.In the Acronis dashboard, click the machine for which you want to apply (run) a backup plan, and click the Protect option.
4.The backup plans for that machine display.
Select the backup plan that you want to apply and click the Run Now button.
